Rather than putting one chart on a sheet, you might want to put together multiple charts on the same sheet. Here is a neat way to pull that off.
The exercise and result are in the Multiple Charts file.
Here is a the data, covering sales by region.

OK- let's create a sheet with 4 sales charts, one for each reason.
One way could be to create a new worksheet and put the charts in there, arranging them by hand. Sorry, too much work.
Let's start. Create the first chart? Yes, but not one you think. Here are the steps:
Click on a blank cell
Click F11 (the key for creating a new chart)
What you have just done is create a blank chart.

Great. Off to a good start. Note the sheet name of the chart, probably Chart1.
Now, create the first bar chart for one of the sales regions. At the last step in the Chart Wizard, enter this in the dialog box for the location.
select As new sheet (even though it really won't be)
Put in the name of the blank chart sheet you just created above

Then click Finish. You next get this dialog box.

Click yes. What you have done is put the chart in an existing sheet, or in other words, you have embedded the chart.
Continue for each region; what you will get after each is a view of the latest chart you embedded. For example, after doing the North chart, you will see:

Notice all the white around, because you have embedded charts. Don't worry that you don't see the other charts; they are right behind.
After you have put in embedded charts for all the regions, you are now ready for the finishing touches:

There you go. Much sharper than putting four charts on a regular old worksheet.
