Here is the quick way to put in legal symbols
The exercise and result are in the Legal file.
Typing in the following symbols in Excel can be easier than you think:
Copyright- type in (c)
Register- type in (r)
Trademark- type in (tm)
Excel uses the AutoCorrect feature (access it from the Tools menu to view the options) automatically.
Notice the first three items.
You can use AutoCorrect to also add in other legal symbols as desired.
