Formula Auditing

Yesterday we talked on how to display formulas.

There is another tool available that can help you do this quickly also (this might be new in Excel 2002).

To begin pull up any worksheet with formulas (we are using the Solver file).  Set up a second window as we mentioned yesterday.

Then go to the Tools menu and select Formula Auditing

You know get the formula view version of the worksheet.

Depending on which formula you click, you will see different color codes, which help you distinguish between related formulas.

To sum this up- create a new window, then click Formula Auditing to get a fast look at all the formulas in your worksheet.
