Radar Charts

You may not have heard of radar charts.  These are an interesting way to display data, with the axes of each point extending from the center. 

The exercise and result are in the Chart Radar file.

Here is some seasonal data we will plot.

We will use the Chart Wizard, first highlighting the data and then selecting a radar chart to display the options.

You can press and hold the Press button at the bottom to view the sample.  We will choose the third option, although the line versions could work too.

Unlike a straight bar chart, where your eyes move from right to left, with a radar chart, you look right down at the center of the action.

Consider using radar charts when you want the user to see the big picture front and center, such as with seasonal results.
